In this supplemental training video learn about how to use the all grants page to gain insight on your grant portfolio. The all grants page can be filtered, sorted and exported providing you with maximum flexibility in accessing key details about your grants portfolio.
26 STEPS
1. Welcome to the Euna Grants training video focused on leveraging the All Grants page to gain insight about your grant portfolio.
2. Through implementation, you've entered master and grant data into Euna Grants. Keeping this data updated helps generate powerful insights to expand your portfolio, use successful writers, mitigate risk, track funder trends, and more.
3. In this video, we’ll explore the All Grants Page in Euna Grants. You’ll learn how to view your full portfolio, filter and sort data, customize and save views, share them, and export to Excel or CSV. Now let's log into Euna Grants to get started.
4. When you log into Euna Grants, from the homepage, select Grant Management.
5. Then click on Grants.
6. The page that displays is the All Grants page. This displays data that’s available from every grant you’ve entered into Euna Grants so far.
7. On this page you’ll see some key information already available like the grant Name, Grantor, and Award Status. To add other available columns to this view, click on any column header arrow.
8. Click Columns to view available options.
9. Here you can select which additional fields you want to add to the page. You can also deselect fields to remove them from the page view. I’m going to add Department and Subject to our page view.
10. Now you can see those two fields on the All Grants Page. To move them, click and hold the column header, then drag to the desired spot. For example, drag Department before Close Out Date for a customized view.
10b. Drop
11. The All Grants page offers flexible views. In addition to adding or removing columns, click the column header arrow to sort data alphabetically in ascending or descending order or filter by words or phrases to narrow the list to specific grants.
12. For example, you might want to use the sorting feature to look at the Close Out Date column to see grants that are closing soon. To do this, click Sort Ascending.
13. Another great feature is the ability to group grants by a specific data point. To view by fiscal year received, drag Fiscal Year Received to the top of the page. Your grants will then be grouped and sorted by year, making it easier to analyze trends.
13b. Drop
14. Add additional fields to the top section to group your data even further. In this example, I will add the Award Status to the top. Now, the data is grouped by Fiscal Year Received, and Award Status within that Fiscal Year Received.
14b. Drop
15. This functionality makes it easy to answer questions like: How many awards were approved last year? Which department has the most awarded grants? Or what’s the total grant revenue denied so far this fiscal year?
16. If you create a view of the data you like, you can save it to easily revisit it at a later time. To save a view, select the bookmark icon in the top right icon tool bar.
17. Name the view; the best practice is to be somewhat descriptive so it’s easy to identify later.
18. Add a Description, if desired. You can click Private View to make the saved view private, so only you can look at it. By leaving Private View unchecked, anyone in your organization can access this view.
19. Then click Create.
20. After you select the Create button, the view is saved. You can access it by navigating in the left panel menu to Grants Management.
21. Then, click Views.
22. Next, let’s learn how to export grant data from your All Grants page. To return to the All Grants Page, click Grant Management.
23. Click Grants
24. Select the export icon in the top right icon toolbar.
25. Here, select the Export Type, identifying what you’d like to export, enter a File Name, and select either Excel or CSV. This is a powerful way to take the data out of Euna Grants and share it with others in your organization.
26. Through this training you’ve learned how to leverage the All Grants Page of Euna Grants to gain insight on your grant portfolio. Should you have any questions, please reference our support site. Thank you!
