1. As a Funder, there's many decisions and considerations when adopting a new Grants Management solution and rolling it out to your grantees.
2. Setting up a "Recipient Test Account" allows you to become familiar with the Recipient Portal, which is the module grantees interact with. Is a safe account to use in internal trainings, technical assistance, or routine grantee sessions.
3. Considerations before setting up a Recipient Test Account. First, you must have a Grant Maker or Lifecycle subscription with Euna Grants. Only Account Admins can create a test accounts. Lastly, ensure proper naming conventions to avoid confusion.
4. In this video, we'll review how to create a Test Fund, Test Lead Recipient, Test Award and how to access it from the Recipient Portal.
5. To start, lets add an Organization. Log into Euna Grants and navigate to Contacts.
6. Then Organizations
7. Click Create
8. The only required field is an Organization Name. Is good practice to properly label all records used for testing purposes.
9. Add any other relevant information. When ready, scroll down and click Create.
10. Next, let's create a Test Fund. Go to Fund Management and Funds.
11. Click Create
12. Type in a Fund Name.
13. Enter a Fund Target Amount
14. Fund Open Date and Close Date. Then Create.
15. You'll land on the Fund details page. Is important to add Income Received to Date. Click on the plus sign next to the field label.
16. Select an Organization Type
17. Select the Test Organization
18. Enter an Amount Received
19. Click Save
20. Next, we'll create a Test Lead Recipient. Navigate to Administration.
21. Click License Information.
22. Click Lead Recipients
23. Click Create. Only Account Admins have access to add create new Lead Recipient accounts.
24. Type a Name for the test Recipient Account.
25. Add an Email Address. The email address added here will become the Account Owner for your Recipient account. Make sure to use a valid email address that you can access the inbox. This email will receive the invitation to the new account.
26. Click Create
27. Next, we'll create a Test Award record. Click on Program Management
28. Click Awards
29. Click on the plus sign.
30. Start typing the name of your Test Lead Recipient.
31. Enter Awarded Date, Start and End Dates
32. Scroll down and find the Test Fund.
33. Click the plus sign to add this Fund
34. Next to Funding Amount, type in an Amount.
35. Scroll down and click Create
36. When ready, click the Activate button at the bottom right corner of your screen. This will enable you to access your Test Award in your new Recipient account.
37. A few minutes after activating the Award, the email address utilized to create the Lead Recipient record will receive an email invitation to access the account.
38. If the email utilized in the Lead Recipient record is linked to another existing account, type in your credentials. The new account and previous accounts will automatically merge.
39. If utilized a new email address that is not linked to existing accounts, create a new password
40. Accept Terms and Conditions by clicking I Accept
41. Access the Test Award record from the Grants Management module, then Grants.
42. Click on the Grant Name to access the Test Award record.
An Award record becomes a Grant record in the Recipient Module.
