The bulk edit feature allows you to update common fields across multiple awards at the same time from the Program Awards grid. This is useful for applying uniform changes to award dates, reporting settings, payment configurations, and permissions without editing each award individually.
When the Bulk Edit Awards modal opens, only fields that are available for bulk updates will be displayed. Any values you enter will be applied to all selected awards upon saving.
To use bulk edit, your user account must have the Awards Admin, Editor, or Manager/Additional Users role.
- Navigate to Program Management>Programs.
- Click on a Program Name.
- Select Awards>Program Awards.
- Select the awards you want to edit using one of the following methods:
- Individual Selection: Check the box next to each award you want to edit.
- Select Visible: Check the Select Visible checkbox in the column header to select all visible awards.
- Click the (Edit) icon in the Actions menu. The Bulk Edit Awards modal opens.
- Update any of the following fields to apply changes across all selected awards:
- Award Details: Fund Activity Categories, Departments, Subjects, Award Status, Funder Grant Manager, Funder Additional Users.
- Award Dates: Awarded Date, Start Date, Grant Year 1 End Date, End Date.
- Reporting Settings: Budget Reporting Period, Due Date for Budget Items, Performance Reporting Period, Due Date for Performance Items.
- Payment and Amendment Settings: Add Expenses to Payment Requests By, Allowable Amendment Types.
- Permission Settings: Budget Create Permissions, Expense Creation Permissions, Performance Plan Creation, Achievement Creation.
- Click Save to apply your changes to all selected awards.
