Multi-round scoring lets you run multiple scoring rounds for a single opportunity, giving reviewers the flexibility to evaluate applications in stages rather than all at once. It supports editing scores during an active round, controlling whether reviewers can see prior round scores, and choosing how scores calculate both per round and across the entire scoring process. This article covers how to configure the settings for single-round and multi-round scoring on an opportunity.
Prerequisite
Set up a workflow queue for each scoring round and confirm your application form includes scored questions.
Warning: You can make changes to these settings only until the first application is submitted. After that, the settings lock and cannot be changed.
- Navigate to Program Management > Opportunities.
The Fund Opportunities page displays. - Select your opportunity.
The Opportunity Details page displays. - Select Configuration > Application Settings.
The Application Settings page displays. Scroll to the Scoring Information section.
The following four fields apply to both single-round and multi-round scoring.Field Description Ignore Score Outliers Select No to include all scores in each application's average.
Select Yes to exclude the highest and lowest score from each round and from the overall score.
Reviewer Scorecard Visibility Controls whether reviewers see only their own scores or all reviewer scores. Show Budget Details Select Yes to let reviewers view submitted budgets.
Select No to limit budget access to Admins and opportunity Managers.
Allow Edits After Submission Select Yes to let reviewers update scores during the active round.
Note: Reviewers cannot edit scores from past rounds once applications advance, though Admins and opportunity Managers can update scores at any time.
For single-round scoring, leave Multiple Scoring Rounds set to No and create one scoring queue.
For multi-round scoring, set Multiple Scoring Rounds to Yes and create one queue with a scoring action for each round.Field Description Show Previous Scores Select Yes to let reviewers see the most recent round's scores and comments.
Select No to keep past rounds hidden.
Scoring Per Round Determines how each round's score is calculated across all reviewers.
Select Average, High Score, Low Score, or Total Score.
Scoring Overall Total Determines how scoring across all rounds totals.
Select Average (average of all rounds), Final (last round's score), or Total (sum of all round scores).
- Click the Update button to save your scoring settings.
