The Bypass SSO field lets you designate specific users who can sign in to Euna Grants without going through your identity provider. Use it for a small number of administrators who need a backup way in, for example if the identity provider is unavailable or misconfigured.
Bypass users still need a valid Euna Grants username and password, so bypass does not remove the need for credentials. Keep the list short and review it regularly.
Before you add or remove bypass users, confirm that SSO is configured in License Information. See How to configure Single-Sign-On (SSO) in License Information. Then confirm which users need bypass access and limit this to a small number of administrators.
Prerequisites: Before you set up SSO, confirm that your Euna Grants subscription includes it, that you have your identity provider’s sign-in URL and certificate or metadata, and that you have administrator access to your account.
- Sign in to Euna Grants with an administrator account.
- Click Administration > License Information in the side navigation.
- Open the SSO Configuration and click Identity Provider from the dropdown menu.
- Click the (Edit icon) in the icon bar.
- At the bottom of the page, select the users who can bypass SSO. This field lists the administrator users from System Security > Users.
- Click Save.
Note: If this section does not appear, your subscription does not include SSO. SSO must be available in your Euna Grants subscription before you can configure it. Contact your Euna account representative.
Warning: Only add users who need backup access. Each bypass user must still have a valid Euna Grants username and password.
