Through this Core Concept video for Grant Makers, learn how to create a fund in Euna Grants based on an organization. Customers who purchased the Grant Maker Core subscription can leverage this video to create funds.
29 STEPS
1. Welcome to the Euna Grants Core Concept training video focused on creating a fund.
2. In our last Core Concept video, your organization entered master data, you aligned internally on how you’ll name a fund, and ensured all required fields including the amount received, the target fund amount, and more.
3. Now, let's create your first fund.
4. Log Into Euna Grants
5. navigate to Fund Management,
6. Then click on Funds. As you configure your account, this screen will contain all the funds you’ve added to Euna grants.
7. To add your first fund, click the plus sign in the upper right corner in the icon toolbar. This takes you to a fund entry screen.
8. Enter a name for your fund. This is a required field marked with an asterisk.
9. Type a Name for your fund
10. Enter the target amount. This is an estimate and does not limit your ability to add income above or below the target.
11. Select from the dropdown the fund manager’s name. They must be entered as a staff member and already be a user to interact with the fund. In this example, we are adding Maggie Manager.
12. You also have the ability to add Additional Users. To be assigned as an additional user, the individual must have a staff record in Euna Grants.
13. You can add one or more individuals to this field by selecting from the dropdown.
14. Optionally, you can select from the pre-populated dropdowns under Fund Activity Categories.
15. Drag down to see more categories. These will take from the list of categories you’ve already created. Click the category you would like to select, like Community Development .
16. Add all the categories you need.
17. If you would like to remove a category, simply click on the X next to the name.
18. Next, you can also add departments. Select the Departments you would like to assign, like Community Development.
19. Select a subject from the dropdown, like Recreation and Community.
20. Finally, fill out the required fund open date and fund close date. You can type in the date or select it from the calendar icon.
21. To access a new month, click on the arrow.
22. Select a Fund Close Date
23. To access a new year, click on the month text.
24. Enter a Description, if you would like.
25. Finally, ensure your status is Enabled.
26. Then, click Create. You will land on the Fund Details page.
27. Should you need to edit your fund details at any time, click on the pencil icon in the top right toolbar. From this toolbar, you also have the ability to delete the record by clicking on the trash icon.
28. In addition, if your funds repeat year after year, or you have another fund with similar details, you can copy this fund by clicking on the dual paper icon. Then, follow the same steps to create the fund.
