A fund is a pool of income for an opportunity and a key building block toward creating opportunities and ultimately awarding funding to recipients. Before you can build an opportunity and its application, you must first create a fund in Euna Grants.

Fund Sources
A fund's income comes from a funder, the entity providing the funding. You can create a fund from an organization, an individual, or a grant, and create multiple funds for an opportunity in Euna Grants. Most funds come from organizations, such as federal or state governments or specific departments such as the Department of Economic Development.
Preparing to Create a Fund
Before you create a fund, confirm the following:
- The funding entity exists as an organization in Euna Grants. You likely added this during your master data setup but confirm it before you begin.
- Your team has aligned on naming conventions to avoid confusion between funds with similar spellings or abbreviations.
- You have a target funding amount. This is an estimate and does not affect final funding.
A fund requires the following fields to create.

After you create the fund, add the following fields before you can draw funding from it.
