1. Welcome to the Euna Grants core concept training video focused on Fund Financials.
2. In our last video, we created your first fund record in Euna Grants. Now, we’ll review fund financials and how to add funding commitments and income received. We'll create a fund record, add a target amount, and add income received.
3. Log into Euna Grants. After landing on the homepage, navigate to Fund Management.
4. Click Funds. This takes you to your list of available fund records.
5. Under the name column, click the name of the fund where you want to add a target amount or income.
6. You’re now on the Fund Details page. This contains the information you entered about your fund and the ability to update fund details. Scroll down to the section labeled Fund Details.
7. Here, we’ll focus on: Fund Income Target Amount
8. Income Received to Date
9. Unanticipated Balance
10. First, let’s look at the target amount. This is for internal planning purposes only and does not impact your ability to generate awards.
11. Let's review the steps to add Income Received To Date.
12. Click the plus sign next to the $0.00.
13. Your type of funding can be an Organization, Individual or Grant.
14. These master data records must already exist in order to assign them to the fund. In this example, we’ll select an organization.
15. Select the organization name providing the funding from the dropdown.
16. This list pulls from your organizations entered into Euna Grants. Make sure that your organization is created within the system.
17. Organizations are created under the Contacts Menu.
18. Add the Amount Received from the organization. This field is required.
19. Type any amount in the field.
20. Enter the Payment Day. Then, select the payment method. Options to select from are credit card, check, electronic funds, transfer or other from the dropdown.
21. If you want to include an identifying number, you can enter it in the Payment Reference Number field.
22. Below are other optional fields like a description box
23. and a unique identifier field.
24. When all necessary fields have been filled out, click Save.
25. After saving, the Income Received To Date under Fund Income will update with your amount entered. Scroll down to the Fund Details to review. You still have access to the plus sign to add additional funding committed over time.
26. Now that you know how to enter how to enter Target Amount and Income Received, let’s review how you can revisit those details later. At the top of your screen, click the Fund Management drop down.
27. We will review each portion in this section together, starting with Commitments. Commitments update the Total Funding Committed on your Fund. Click Commitments to view all funding commitments entered in Euna Grants for the fund.
28. Click the plus sign to create a new funding commitment.
29. Select an Organization
30. Enter any Amount Committed.
31. Click Add or click cancel to return to the commitments grid.
32. You can edit or delete funding commitments by using the pencil icon or the trash can.
33. From here, we’ll explore Income. Income updates the Income Received To Date amount on your fund and is how the fund generates awards. Click Fund Management, then Income to view all income entries.
34. Click Income
35. This will take you to a screen of all income you’ve entered as received for this fund. You can also edit or delete income by using the pencil icon to edit or the trash can to delete next to the name of the fund source.
36. To add more income, click the plus sign in the upper right corner or export the income entries using the export button.
37. The next options under Fund Management are Opportunities and Awards. Once you link an opportunity or award to a fund, you will be able to explore them via this drop down.
38. Click Fund Management
39. Click Awards
40. Award records will appear if, if created.
41. Click Details to return to the Fund Details page of your selected fund for any other management needed.
