Benefit types represent non-wage compensation provided to staff members and are a foundational master data element in Euna Grants. They support accurate financial tracking across your organization. Common examples include FICA, Fringe Benefits, and Medical coverage. You can assign benefit types to a compensation history record, a personnel budget line item, or a standalone budget line item.
The benefit type entry form requires only a name to create a record. Once saved, a benefit type becomes available to assign across compensation and budget records in Euna Grants.
Important: Benefit types require two saves to complete. You must click the save icon next to the benefit type name, then click the Update button. The benefit type will not be saved if you skip either step.
